Dear Executive,

The universal phenomena for climate change, anti corporate backlash, energy crunch, erosion of trust and human crisis have impacted our lives in so many ways.  With these challenges, we focus on corporate citizenship and responsible corporation as our theme of this fourth Public Relations Week 2008 – TURNING COSTS INTO INVESTMENT.

The original concept of Public Relations Week is to combine the potentials of campuses, industries, related professional organizations, practitioners in the field, and media as to strengthen the quality of public relations function in their organizations - a strategic management function, rather than a technical function alone.

Effective organizations choose and achieve appropriate goals because they develop relationships with their publics.  Ineffective organizations cannot achieve their goals, because their public do not support and typically oppose management efforts to achieve what public consider illegitimate goals.

A public relations department makes an organization more effective.

Through Seminar and Workshop we will present the experts’ opinion on the decreasing values of capitalism, creating business credibility and accountability, drivers and trends, solution in exercising corporate citizenship and responsible corporations.   Green public relations – how it creates positive impact towards organization in terms of finance and non-financial contribution will be elaborated in a series of topics during workshop.

Hope this initiative will be beneficial to business community and public relations professional development in this country.

Join us in Public Relations Week 2008!
