Salam Sejahtera,

Seperti Ibu/Bapak ketahui bahwa Public Relations Week diprakarsai pada tahun 2005. PR Week adalah kegiatan tahunan dalam rangkaian “10 tahun kampanye pendidikan public relations sebagai fungsi manajemen” yang diselenggarakan untuk :
Menggabungkan potensi kampus dengan dunia profesi dan industri, pengguna jasa, praktisi, media massa dan masyarakat luas dengan sasaran
→ Memberikan pencerahan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan
sumberdaya manusia dalam mengantisipasi trend dan tantangan
praktek Public Relations sebagai fungsi Manajemen yang strategik.

Call for Papers

 

Public Relations Week 2008 is the fourth of a-ten year campaign designed to enhance public relations as a strategic management function in organization. It is a blend of academic and professional nuance in synergizing the potentials of campuses, professional organizations, industries and practitioners in relevance to communications and public relations.

Initiated in 2005, with the credit from our Patron. Trisakti University, and endorsed by the International Association of Public Relations (IPRA) and Public Relations Association of Indonesia (PERHUMAS), with the financial contribution from our sponsors, media partners, supporters and all participants – representatives from prominent industries, and universities, we are consistent to present annual event that will benefit in updating trends and opportunities, and strategies in anticipating the challenges of public relations practice in national and international perspectives.

Starting 2008, we invite teaching staff, researchers from universities to submit either Research Report or Case studies in the following issues but not limited to:
1. PR latest issues and trends: Academic and Professional Perspectives
2. Professional Accreditation: Threats or Opportunities?
3. Positioning PR in management organization – Trends and Solutions
4. Critical perspectives on faculty credentials on public relations
5. Public Relations Curriculum at the Crossroad
6. Case studies on PR Effectiveness, Measurement and Evaluation.

Abstract, Papers and Slide Presentation should be written in English, Presentation can be bilingual.

There is NO ADMISSION FEE for submission of research papers. Research should have been completed and conducted by either one or more researchers, yet presentation should be given by one representative only. Each campus can submit more than one research paper for different topics.

Research papers will be assessed by the Committee and only 6 (six) selected papers will be presented. The 6 (six) presenters or representatives from each campus will be entitled for:
Full complimentary admission to PR Week 2008: Seminar, Workshop, Academic Forum and PR Night at Nikko Hotel Jakarta, from 27 – 29 May 2008.

Call for Papers Schedule:

ABSTRACT (submission deadline 30 April 2008)
Abstract content of 200 words, selected papers will be notified by end of April 2008

FULL PAPERS & SLIDE PRESENTATION (submission deadline 15 May 2008)
Full Papers: maximum 10 pages, including tables and bibliography
(Paper: A4, Font: Times New Roman, Size:12pt, Spacing: 1.5pt)
Slide Presentation: maximum 15 slides (Microsoft Power Point file)

PRESENTATION (presented on PR Week 2008 – 29 May 2008)
Each paper will be presented in 20 minutes followed by Question & Answer
